WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Our programmes, projects and activities are designed to prioritise women participation and empowerment. Our training programmes are targeted at giving 70% access to women.
INTEGRITY
One key word that keeps SYDA running is integrity. We believe and act in integrity to ensure that we do not become an inverse of what we represent but rather with boldness work towards creating platforms for wealth creation for the disturbed youth.
SYDA INTEGRATED SEWING PROJECT
This Project which was funded by the Australian High Commission through its Direct Aid Programme (DAP) seeks to train about 200 youths in the area of sewing, kente weaving, bead craft and smock sewing to enable them have access to decent work and quality livelihoods.
SYDA Hub
SYDA after operating over the past 7 years and having started its Skill Training Programme is now set to officially join the Ghana Hubs Network to enable SYDA improve its training modules.
With its huge Training facility occupying a one acre land in the heart of Sunyani, it is expected that SYDA Hub would make a huge impact as it works with the Ghana Hubs Network.
This would pave way for short term training to be added to its normal two to three years training programmes in the areas of fashion, welding and fabrication, kente weaving, auto mechanics, carpentry, bead craft, pencil arts and amongst others.
Entrepreneurship skill training would be added to its training activities now that is ready to operate its Hub.
