Abesim, Thursday, July 14, 2022
Mrs. Safura Mohammed Suraj, the Deputy Bono Regional Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on the youth in the region to embrace the government’s YouStart program.
The YouStart is a government initiated machinery through which funding and technical support would be provided to youth and youth-led businesses to start, build and grow their own businesses, a move she described as new and soft life awaiting the youth.
She was speaking in an interview with newsmen at Abesim, saying “don’t be motivated by material things, but always look into the future”.
According to Mrs. Suraj, the government has open up more opportunities such as the YouStart program, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as well as the Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education for the Ghanaian youth, therefore urged them to take advantage of it for new better and soft life.
She said everything was at their disposal and what was left for them is to be hard working, discipline, commitment and perseverance to make it a reality.
Mrs. Suraj pleaded with the Ghanaian citizen to put the nation first and rally behind the government, despite the challenges, because “difficult times called for unconditional love for our nation”.
“Let’s be willing and endeavor as Ghanaians to sacrifice for the nation to put the country on a better position for the unborn generation devoid of our political colors”.
“We have no place than Ghana”, therefore encouraged all to subject themselves into the spirit of sacrifices for the betterment of their families and the nation”.
