Ghana’s 8th general elections in the 4th republic begins peacefully.

Ghana’s 8th Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the 4th republic has successfully taken off in all the 275 constituencies in the country.

The processes monitored from exactly 0700 hours of Monday was smoothly in progress.

Observing from polling stations in Sunyani, Fiapre, Nsoatre, Dumasua, Nwawasua, Berekum, Jinijini, Fetentaa and Drobo, all in the Bono Region, it was amazing that citizens were in very long queue to exercise their constitutional rights and civic responsibilities.

Speaking to some of them, Mr. Richard Adjei, a Tertiary student said he was 37th person to join the queue in Sunyani, Nyamaa Basic School, poling station “A” as at 0530 hours.

The exercise has so far been very peaceful, smooth and in progress with the COVID-19 prevention protocols strictly observed.
