GrassRoot Hub to Hold Startup Summit In Sunyani

GrassRoot Hub is ready to hold a-day summit for innovative entrepreneurs, unemployed and investors in Sunyani. 
The event is a ‘Startup Summit’ to create an excellent opportunity for individuals starting their businesses and its expecting 100 participants. 

The event, dubbed “SUNYANI START-UP SUMMIT 2021” is scheduled to come off at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) auditorium on Friday, 2nd July at 10am. 

It was organized by the GrassRoots Hub in partnership with Ghana Tech Lab to “create an avenue to bring together innovators and investors, promote startup culture and increase access to funding within the Sunyani Ecosystem”.

It is also an internship and incubation period for winners of the just ended six (6) weeks digital media training held for youth in Sunyani and the Bono Region in general. 

This was in a press release signed by Philemon Kusi, the Communications & Social Media Associate, GrassRoots Hub, and copied newsmen in Sunyani on Thursday. 

The release said participants of the just ended digital media training were trained in areas comprising photography, Videography Graphic Design, Creative Writing and Blogging and the summit is also to give them the platform to pitch to audience their innovative ideas. 

This would propel them to the next level, through constructive business development and investor-readiness feedback to engender possible funding from the community of local investors, it added.
