Madam Justina Owusu-Banahene, the Bono Regional Minister has advised Junior and Senior High School students to eschew sexual promiscuity and other behaviors likely to endanger their lives.

She urged the general public to desist from drugs, alcoholism, the LGBTQI+, indecent dressing, pre-marital sex and exhibit good social and moral values worthy of emulation.

Madam Owusu-Banahene expressed worry that recent statistics and projections indicates that the Bono region has 2.64 per cent prevalence of HIV cases with high infections rate which is very alarming and an unfortunate situation.

She gave the advice when speaking on Friday at a gathering of five Girls Schools from across the region to showcase their innovative handi works at the Sunyani Youth Development Association (SYDA) Skills Training Center in Sunyani.
