NDC administration implored to adopt 60% of Prof. J.E.A Mills Governing Style.

Professor Dominic Otoo, the Dean of Students, University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) has implored the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration to adopt at least 60 percent of the governing style of the late Professor John Evans Atta.

He outlined that Prof. Mills was not only known for peace making, but was also committed to ensuring smooth and quality education.

Prof. Otoo was the keynote speaker at the J.E. A Mills’ 10th Anniversary Memorial Lecture in Sunyani, in honor of the late President of the Republic, on the theme: “The Man John Evans Atta Mills – 10 Years On”.

He explained that the late President was dealing with critical factors affecting smooth delivery of education in the areas of poor educational infrastructure and ICT learning centres and awarding educational scholarships to serve the interest of learners, teachers and parents.

Prof. Mills was also poised to ensure quality education in Ghana with focuses on TVET and Technical education for consequent productive and reliable human resources for speedy national growth, Prof. Otoo stated.

Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, the Paramount Chief of Dormaa Traditional Area and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs urged the citizenry to eschew utterances and other doings that could disturb the peaceful co-existence of the country.
