Teachers Unavailability: Pupils and students of Daadom Basic School Stranded

Pupils of Daadom Community in the Sunyani Municipality are stranded and in a state of no hope to decide their fate in school, as there is no teacher to take them through academic works.
Mr. Jonna Davidson, the School Management Committee Secretary told bemoaned during a visit to the community.
According to Mr. Davidson, the school from class 1 to JHS 2 has 85 pupils and students population, but with only two teachers.
He is much worried that the situation is badly affecting teaching and learning as well as academic performance of the children.
He explained the two teachers taking care of the JHS 1 and 2 classes could only assemble all the Primary 1 to 6 pupils in one classroom and asked them to keep quiet.
Thefourlens.com sighted the children well arranged in one classroom and only waiting for school to close.
Mr. Davidson noted that the situation has compelled many parents and guardians to take their children and wards from the area.
He therefore appealed to the Regional and Municipal Education Directorates and for that matter the government to post teachers to the area.

There is a completed six apartments for teachers, but issues of electricity and internet was the root cause of teachers unavailability in the area.
