The Sunyani Youth Development Association (SYDA) has secured an industrial mechanic and capentry shop for its trainees to effectively under take their skills trainings for their livelihood empowerment.
A fully stocked fitting shop with many different industrial machines to make learning more easier.
The newly acquired training centers would enhanced active and smooth running of the above mentioned modules of the Association and improve performances of the beneficiary trainees.
It was a partnership with Alaska Joe, the Chief Executive Officer of Alaska Royals Ltd at Abesim in the Sunyani Municipality.

As measures to sustain the project, and attract more idle hand youth to come and learn, Nana Akomea Sakyi, the Association’s secretary hinted that together with the Sunyani Traditional Authorities, the Association is arranging for farm lands for the trainees to cultivate food to eat to help them learn with the best of their knowledge.

The initiative has become necessary because the three regions of the Brong-Ahafo has high records of irregular migration and the Association is bringing the interventions to encourage and empower the young people.
